About Us

I have been in food service and hospitality for over 20 years. I began designing weddings and special events 12 years ago when we opened The Brome Howard Inn in St Mary's City. The waterfront site and 160 year old farm house gave me a great canvas to create beautiful and unique outdoor weddings. As our business grew, so did our need for a larger space and larger staff. In the spring of 2011, we pulled our catering company out of the Inn and re-branded it as Canards Catering and Event Production. While we are still presenting beautiful weddings (with delicious food) at the Brome Howard Inn, we also are travelling to many other beautiful locations!
